Julie Towle, DVM, CVA, CVC, CTVH
Dr. Towle purchased the practice from Dr. Arnold in January of 2012, renaming it Pet Pals Holistic Veterinary Hospital. She continues to integrate holistic therapies of TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine), acupuncture and chiropractic with more traditional surgery and western medicine therapies. Dr. Towle graduated from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and is an active member of The American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Central Indiana Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Towle received her first certification in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2003 and also holds current certifications in Veterinary Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Veterinary Spinal Manipulation (aka Chiropractic).
Dr. Towle lives in Carmel with her daughter, Sara, and their 2 dogs. When she’s not helping people with their pets, Julie is involved with various volunteer efforts, practicing Tai Chi, gardening or enjoying music in her spare time!
Richard Arnold, DVM
Dr. Rick Arnold founded Pet Pals Veterinary Hospital and House Calls in our current location in Nora in 1994 before transitioning out of practice ownership in 2012. Dr. Arnold continues to practice full time at the clinic but without the ownership time demands.
He graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982, He is an active member of The American Animal Hospital Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, The Indiana Veterinary Medical Association, and The Central Indiana Veterinary Medical Association.
When Dr. Arnold is not working, he enjoys spending time with his children or gardening. He also began the veterinary sponsorship for Indiana Task Force 1 – Canine Urban Search and Rescue. Pet Pals is proud to continue this tradition by providing routine veterinary care, supplies and other veterinary health care services and training to the dedicated volunteers supporting these FEMA certified dogs.
Natalie Olden-Stahl, DVM, CVA
Dr. Olden-Stahl graduated from the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She spent one year in Virginia in a private practice, and another three and half years in a 24-hour general practice/emergency hospital. Following that she spent several years in private general practice on Indianapolis’ south-east side. In 2011, she attended the Chi Institute to study Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and attain her certificate as a Veterinary Acupuncturist.
Dr. Olden-Stahl and her husband have two dogs, Buster and Charlee. Her professional interests include internal medicine, geriatric care, wound healing and Eastern Medicine (acupuncture, herbal and food therapy). Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading and gardening.
Kalie started working at Pet Pals June, 2015 as our full time receptionist. She had volunteered at several clinics while she worked on her veterinary technician degree at Harrison College. Kalie had to take a break from school for a few months while recovering from a medical condition, but she returned and graduated in June, 2014.
Since Kalie was young she has had a special place in her heart for animals, and there was no question this is what she wanted to do as her career. Kalie shares her home with two dogs; Maggie, who is a lab/golden retriever mix and Sammie, a yorkie/silky mix. She also has two gliders named Gizmo and Gadget, and a sweet sphinx named Annabelle. She loves camping and going to the shooting range with her dad and brother.
Gale joined Pet Pals in June 2013 as a receptionist. She previously worked in customer service positions until her love of pets led to veterinary clinic work, including Customer service at Elanco animal health. Gale lives in Indianapolis with her husband Jeff. They enjoy camping with their 3 dachshunds Beau, Lucy, and Tucker.

Megan joined the practice in July 2007. Her first job as a veterinary assistant was in 2002. She pursued the love of working in the veterinary field by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Purdue University in 2006.
In her free time, Megan enjoys participating in sporting activities with her dog, going to concerts and eating Thai food.
Billy began working in the veterinary field in January of 2013 and joined our practice in April of 2014. Billy graduated from IBC with a Veterinary Technology Associates of Applied Science degree in May of 2013. She then passed her boards and became licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician in Indiana in August of 2013.
Billy’s passions have always been working with animals and pursuing her growth as an artist. She enjoys spending time with her fiance, her family, and her cattle dog mix, Ernie. Billy hopes to someday pursue a part time career as an artist and further her studies in art history.
